Set analysis within a class function

Hi guys, Please find attached. Essentially I like to create a range with %Variance expression using the CLASS function  but it returns null. Please help!!

AFAIK, you cannot use Column() function in your dimension. It is only available within expressions.

Alright then so does it mean i can't do my requirement in any other way?
