Stuck with a Data modelling scenario

Hi qlikview Experts,

i have a count of x no of employees who are alotted rating on April

and this rating is valid for the next 6 months upto october and then fresh rating is given in october

Now how do i find out of those x no of employees who have left the organisation within the corresponding 1 year

eg if employee is given rating on 01/04/2015

then i need to check whether he has left the organisatin between 01/04/2015 to 31/03/2016

and if employee is given rating on 01/10/2015

then i need to check whether he has left the organisatin between 01/10/2015 to 30/09/2016

Regards,

Nadeem

Your post talks about employees getting ratings twice a year, not about any data that signifies that an employee has left the organisation.

Should we conclude that an employee has "probably" left the organisation in a period of six months when the next rating is simply missing?

Yes you are right employees are assigned ratings twice a year . And i also have a flag that checks whether the employee is there in the organisayion or not.

It is possible that an employee who get a rating for eg in april he could leave the organisation within the next six months or even later .

Thank you for your reply peter
