Time Chart error

Hi - I'm using the Time Chart for the first time and I'm probably not understanding how to populate the fields.  Since I'm new to this I decided to use the wizard.  The process is generating the following error, what causes this??

CaseCloseDate includes my dates.  YR is a 4 digit year.  Am I mixing value types??

Any help is appreciated.
