Total mode in Expressions tab is deactivated

Does anybody know why in the Expressions tab the Total mode of a pivot is not activated (in the Chart/pivot properties)?

How can I activate this total mode to obtain a totals row in the pivot?

For a Pivot Table, you need to use Partial Sums:
