UPPER() IN SCRIPT

SELECT

DISTINCT [Company No_] , UPPER([Company Name])

FROM

[ABC]

Above query in MS SQL 2005 its working properly but when I copy to Edit script its show error <Company Name> not found.

please tell me why or i use another function in the place of upper.

try that:

LOAD

[Company No_] ,

UPPER([Company Name]) as [Company Name]

;

SELECT
DISTINCT [Company No_] , [Company Name]
FROM
[ABC]

may be your ODBC driver doesn't support this function.
