URL Encoding in Chart Expressions

I need a text field to be URL encoded in a chart expression.

Qlikview doesn't have a built in function for that.

Also, Qlikview won't allow me to call a VB function from a chart expression.

Encoding the field in the load script is not an option, it's a few GB that must also be shown unencoded for the users.

So what are the available choices now?

Using a button, variables, a macro and using the variable in the chart expression?
