Upgrade SAP Connector

Hi,

I Use SAP Connector version 5.4 with QV 10.

I intend to upgrade SAP conector to 5.7 and I wanna know if I can upgrade first the Development Environment without affecting my prodution environment.

Any hint about how can I upgrade this easier?
