V11 Upgrade - SR2+ - Do I need to consider IE Plug In install

Hello

I am due to an upgrade within version 11 to SR2 or even a newer version next week, and wanted to know whether V11 - SR2 has any amendments to IE Plug in and whether I need to consider anything IE PLUG IN related when doing the upgrade within V11?
