Variables passing MultiValues

Is there a way to pass multi values to a variable ?

I have a HTML Select Tag with options.I would like the user to select multi values and allow those multi selection in Qlik App

Example:

There is a country drop down ,A user can select multi options.

app.variable.setStringValue("vCountry", $("#Country").val());
