Want to Clear Field Not Work

Hi all,

I'm new to qlikview and having small query.

I have one list box of year and selected one year through list box now Apply the Clear field it's do clear the selection.

Now I don't want to clear that selection how to get this output.please help me.

Do you need always one selection in list box and it shouldn't get cleared even when 'Clear' button is pressed?

You may need always one selected value as shown below. Please make selection before clicking on the properties of list box to check this option.

You can lock the selection, which did not clear even after clear selection.

Or You can use Triggers

Select the field value and lock it.

you can find the lock icon in the standard tool bar at the top.
