When reloading application the "blacks out" during reload Qlikview v12

When I upgraded from Qlikview v11 to v12, I noticed that the screen usually (not always though) blacks out (fields and reports not visible) while the application reloads. Sometimes I want to capture a screen dump to see if some values are changing from the reload. Is there a setting that prevents the screen to black out while reloading?
