I've examined the existing functionality of bookmarks in QlikView and come to a conclusion that it should be extended so that I could use it for my clients. I'm wondering if an extension can be of use. I'd be grateful if you give me some hints.
Let me explain:
1) My client application is reduced and distributed every week through the Publisher. As a result of Reduce&Distribute procedure 50 separate qvw-files are created every week. Thus, if I want to keep my clients' bookmarks permanently I should keep them separately from the clients' qvw-files so that the bookmarks will not be deleted during Reduce&Distribute procedure.
2) I found out that the function 'delete bookmark' fails to work in web view. It fails to display the list of existing bookmarks (see the file attached).
Can there be a solution of points 1-2 via creating an extension?
