calculating by using frequency amounts

I would like to find the incresepercentage from a monthly sale.

I have a list with sold items by date and a monthlist showing all month of 2009 - january, february, ..............

when showing the frequency january shows ex. 300 and february 400.- so the increase is 100 and the increasepercentage is 25%.

this calculation I would like to make in the caption of the monthlist - is it possible and how do I get around it?
