date and Timstamp

Hi,

Could someone please explain the below date format difference in QlikView.

date(date#(Field_Name),'MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm:ss'),'MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm:ss')

Timetamp(Timestamp#(Field_Name),'MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm:ss'),'MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm:ss')

Both are much of same when you are specifying  the format like "MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm:ss" in this case. If you leave the format to default then you can find the difference. Time part is extra in  the Timestamp()
