figures in month

hi 

i have a column where is date_of_purchase.

i want to minus that date into today date and want to get months.. means how many months utilize till today date..

like if date_of_purchase is 03-07-2016 ... and today is 11 feb 2021. so means total 54 months is utilized if I count manually.

how I get that?

refer to below expression.. update as required

( num(Year(today())) - num(Year(pdate)) ) * 12 
+ num(Month(today())) 
- num(Month(pdate))

Where <pdate> is your column and Month range (pdate,today]
