how to analyze task reloads and refresh governance dashboard

I am looking for reporting on how many reloads happen every day. I found a tab in the governance dashboard for publisher information, but it was all blank because the distribution service log file location was wrong. I updated that and reloaded, but still no data is showing up for that. The data on usage, etc. is ok.

I found the documentation here

https://help.qlik.com/en-US/governance-dashboard/Content/QV_GovDashboard/What.htm

but it does not really explain how to configure the governance dashboard.

My changes to the log file location do not stick.

How exactly do I edit the configuration?  I am using the desktop application to open the governance qvw file on the production server and then "play" the QMC reload task.

In order to edit the Governance Dashboard.qvw file, you would have to open the file in QlikView Desktop to edit the Configuration page, then save the file, then reload the QVW.

Have a look at this page: https://help.qlik.com/en-US/governance-dashboard/Content/QV_GovDashboard/Getting-Started-with-the-Go...

It will show you how to find and edit the config dialogue.

Yes, I read that page before asking the question. By trial and error I determined that it is necessary to log on to the server as the service account user and edit the source documents version of the qvw, make the changes, save, reload and save again. Then, when the app is reload/distributed from the QMC and published to the documents folder/access point, the changes stick. My question was more about that kind of "how" what version do I edit, can I do it over the access point directly from a web browser, etc.
