odbc connection failed?

Hi experts,

i have a qvw  and when i try reload i am getting   error   ODBC connection failed , if i skip that error then next i am getting table field not found .

but same application in same server if i tried from  some other pc its working fine what is the problem here?

Hi Manoj,

Create a new connection with the same username and password, then test the connection if succeeds then username ,password, data source are correct then you will be able to connect. Otherwise check with the username and password

Create a new ODBC datasource and Test Connection works in that wizard itself.

Hi

me to had the same issue, the mistake what i have done is i had placed the data connection tab(Main tab) in second position where my first tab(Data tab) loads data from data source.

Since in Qlikview execution takes place from tab left to right i rearranged the tab (i.e) placed main tab as first and it works like a charm...
