HI all
i have few questions recording straight table and i have attached an sample pic and i have to do like that can any one help me in solving in this solution
1. i want a separator for each product as shown in the fig A. in first chart
2. i want to merge multiple rows into single rows of measures as shown in FIG B AS IN Second chart
You need to manually add a line as per your requirement but this is not a practical solution.
If your layout is fixed, assemble a seemingly single straight table by glueing multiple straight tables together. Omit the header in the bottom ones.
I should warn you: QlikView is not Excel...
Peter
I don't think that its possible to merge and reflect different data in same field.
hi manish i have added manually a line but this is not proper solution
is is possible in qlikview pivot table
This is the only possible solution as far as I know.
It depends on you if you want others to answer or please close the thread by selecting appropriate answer
ok what about the merging of multiple rows in to single row as in second pic
you may be able to achieve that by turning on design grid and right clicking on the table cell, selecting custom format cells and removing borders in the window that opens up.
use pivot table but that is also having limited advantage.
