view in explorer 11(plug in)

hi,

my usere working with the IE plugin.

some of them have IE 11.

they are complainig that they do not see good the objects

for exemple-

when they use a cycle the text is cutting-

do you know aboat this problem?

what can i do to solve it?

Hi Adi,

If you are on QlikView version 11 and above, IE Plug-in will not be required.

Just AJAX would do.  HTML 5 is supported QlikView 11 and up.

With your QlikView server, are you using the same or or later version of the IE plugin? Older versions of the plugin have a tendency of messing up the display, so you should upgrade all installed plugins whenever you upgrade the server.

It was required in prior versions since Ajax and IE Plugin had lot of differences when you view them. Post version 11 there is no difference. The plug-in now becomes a overhead for maintenance. The Ajax view is no less than plug-in view.

Where can I find the later version of  the IE plugin?

Look for a link in the access point, that says download ie plugin.

Also, on your server. It will be on this path.

C:\Program Files\QlikView\Server\QlikViewClients\QlikViewPlugin

that's where the link is fetching from when you download.
