What's new in Qlik Gold Client for ERP - 8.7.2025.11

Resolved Defects

• Removed obsolete programs from prior versions (QGC-1223)

• Implemented return code security checks in multiple programs (QGC-1224)

• Implemented authorization checks in Gold Client utility programs (QGC-1225, QGC-1226)

• Global Parameter RESTRICT_IMPORT_SYSTEM_CLIENT can be used to allow all exports to only be imported into designated system/client (QGC-1191)

• Number Range Utility enhanced to support numbers range objects for SAF-T digital signature documents (QGC-1185)

• Removed obsolete 'Setup GC Utility Table' option from Installation Setup Menu  (QGC-1236)

• Resolved issue with Derived Transformation using Multiplier with PERNR Sync Exception active  (QGC-1217)

• Data Wave Number Ranges post processing utility now being executed at end of data copy process (QGC-1227)

• Import Options: Restrict Import now working for Client Construct exports (QGC-1228)

• Resolved issue with scenario sorting in Export Control (QGC-1235)

• Client Construct  FILE VALIDATION security checks now uses  Gold Client logical file path /HTG/GCTR instead of standard SAP function to get the file directory  (QGC-1259) 

• Gold Client temp file issue when exporting tables with raw fields as table keys (APOC_D_OR_ITEM) (QGC-1197)

• Field validation on Client Exporter - Select Data Type field requiring a value  (QGC-901)

• Added Number Range Status (NRIV.NRLEVEL) to Select Number Range Objects selection criteria in Gold Client Number Range Utility (QGC-1261)

• Filter for Date and Runtime ID added to Change Gold Client File Path Utility to improve runtime (QGC-1267)

• Custom Table Discovery Utility now recognizes filter checkboxes on Client Construct and Data Echo independently  (QGC-1269) 

Upgrade notes

• SAP Authorization S_TABU_NAM for Activities 02 (Change) and 03 (Display) for Tables /HTG/* are needed to use the following Gold Client Utilities:
  • Config Download/Upload (JSON)
  • Number Range Utility
  • HR User Exit /HTG/GLC_UTL_C_15
  • Reconcile FI Secondary Indexes
  • Update Change Document Client
  • Client Text Object Update
  • Update Person Where-Used Address

System requirements notes

• Only SAP systems on SAP_BASIS 740 component or higher can run Gold Client 8.7.2025.11.
