What's new in Qlik Connector for use with SAP NewtWeaver v8.0.3

General

• 8.0.3. (Requires SAP transport update) A new connector to support SAP HANA Runtime Edition has been added. In order to use the new Runtime Edition, SQL transports for 7.40 SP08 – 7.5x must be installed in addition to the S4H 2022 transport. Additional updates made: Support for more conversion routines have been added, support for INT8 datatype has been added in newer SAP BW systems and enhanced error reporting has been added to SM37 job logs.

Resolved Defects

• Jira issue ID: QB-21990
  Enhanced logging was added to the SAP BW connector to improve information about authorization errors related to specific BW composite objects (8.0.3).
  
  
• Jira issue ID: QB-22169
  There was an issue with some conversion routines not being carried out during the extraction jobs for some fields, resulting in incorrect formatting of data. This was updated in both SQL and BW connectors (8.0.3).
  
  
• Jira issue ID: QB-19742
  In SAP BW InfoProvidor support for INT8 data types has been added (8.0.3).
