What's new in Qlik SAP NetWeaver Connector Release Notes - v8.3.0

General

The SAP Report Connector is now available as integrated in Qlik Cloud Analytics and has been modified with general bug fixes, improvements and dependency updates

BW Connector

• Remove call to BAPI_MDPROVIDER_GET_DIMENSIONS
• Improve InfoProvider script parsing for WHERE clauses
• Apply alternate condition field names on all matching condition fields

SQL Connector

• Support lowercase native datatype ‘p’ UTCLONG

BEx for QlikView

• Add BEX_LEGACY_SCRIPT connection string property

Bug Fixes

BW Connector

• Support older v7 BW transports which do not have the CHABASNM metadata field
• Support asterisk '*' char in BEx variable values
• Fix double quotes issue for BETWEEN conditions

Known Issues

SQL Connector

• Unauthorized tables are not displaying errors in the Select dialog
• Load statements are not included in generated script

Report Connector

• Load statements are not included in generated script
