Visualizations & Dashboard

New straight table becomes default

The new straight table in the bundle is graduating and taking place in the chart section and becoming the default table. The old table will still be around in the asset panel. We recommend everyone to upgrade to the new table and enjoy all the new features. Over time the old table be deprecated, announced well in advance.

Custom CSS styling for sheets 

Today we're releasing an alternative way to add CSS, in conjunction to include in a custom theme. 

The sheet styling property panel now includes a custom styles section for entering CSS. 

Keep in mind: 

• The CSS classes of Qlik analytic applications may change at any time. 
• The CSS classes are not an API. 
• Always use native settings first, any CSS modification should be a last resort. 
• Keep any modifications short--you may have to update them for changes on short notice. 

Indent rows setting in the new pivot table 

The new Pivot table in the bundle gets another presentation mode: choose indent row dimensions for a more compact view. Indent rows are intended for text hence images and links are not supported. 

Pivot table indicators 

The new pivot table in the bundle is getting indicators. Add icons and colors based on thresholds, quick and easy on any measure. 

Line chart shapes with labels and symbols

Enhancements have been made to shape creation (formerly known as plugins) for line charts. In addition to the points and lines, it's now possible to add labels and symbols with options for size, color, and placement. Shapes are a great way to increase data literacy by proving valuable context for interpretation of the chart.

Shapes coming to bar and combo charts

Shapes are now also available for the bar and combo charts.

Show all 

We are reorganizing in the sheets and bookmarks overview and making it easier to navigate. There is now an All category first, where all public, community, and private items will be visible. 

Org Chart, now with images and new styling settings

The Org chart in the bundle is getting new styling settings including an option to include an image by URL in the card, perfect to make your hierarchy charts look even more awesome.

Stability enhancements for map charts

Map charts now use a local webmap instead of one from Qlik’s servers. This gives map charts a faster startup and improved stability.

Improvements to sheet editing experience 

The sheet editing experience has been improved with the source table viewer and filters. Data tables and fields are now available directly from the sheet edit view in the source table viewer. Filters have been added to the properties panel, allowing you to quickly build filters to apply to your visualizations. 

Highlight selected field in data asset panel of the straight table 

The current column is now highlighted in data asset panel of the straight table. Improves usability, makes easier to work with the table. 

Removal of deprecated objects

It's time to remove deprecated charts from the bundles. The following charts have not been available in the asset panel for a long time. If you are still using them, please upgrade to new and better functionality. See the help section for pointers to replacement. It was announced in Qlik Sense May 2025 that deprecated charts would be removed from the bundles in May 2026. Based on customer feedback, the following deprecated charts are now scheduled to be removed from the Qlik Analytics distribution in May 2027.

Data & Platform

New app settings design 

App settings has been refurbished and gets a new home with tabs for easy navigation between the categories of settings. 

End of Data Collection

Qlik is ending the option to opt-in for the collection of system and usage data. If you had previously chosen to allow Qlik to collect system and usage data, your data will no longer be collected.

Enhanced Virtual Proxy Configuration

We’ve extended the configuration options for Virtual Proxy settings in Qlik Sense Enterprise (client-managed). Administrators can now define Session Cookie Isolation to better control how authentication cookies are managed across virtual proxies.
The new settings introduce three levels of control:

• Restricted (default for new installs): Each virtual proxy uses a unique cookie path, improving security by isolating sessions.
• Cookie Sharing: Maintains the legacy behavior with a common cookie path, ensuring compatibility with certain third-party integrations.
• Restricted with Custom Path: Allows administrators to define a custom cookie path, providing flexibility for deployments behind load balancers or additional proxy layers.

This update improves security while maintaining backward compatibility and flexibility for complex enterprise environments.

Content Monitor App for Qlik Sense Enterprise (Client-Managed)

We are excited to announce the availability of the new Content Monitor app, now included with Qlik Sense Enterprise – Client-Managed.
 The Content Monitor helps administrators gain deeper insights into their Qlik environment with a comprehensive overview of content, usage, and configuration. With this app, you can:

• Track apps and tasks with counts and trends.
• Monitor sessions, unique apps, and unique users across different timeframes.
• View high-level node configuration details for a better understanding of your environment setup.
• Get an inventory of files stored in directories referenced by Folder Data Connections, including the number, type, and sizes of files.
• Review the Archived Logs Folder size and file count for easier monitoring of log storage.

The Content Monitor complements your existing monitoring apps by offering a more complete view of content usage and storage patterns, making it easier to manage, optimize, and scale your deployment.

SAP Report Connector integrated in Qlik Connectors 

We have expanded our support for SAP by integrating the SAP Report Connector within Qlik Connectors, providing seamless connectivity to SAP Report objects. 

The SAP Report Connector is already available for QlikView via the SAP NetWeaver connector package, but it is now also available in Qlik Sense.  

The SAP Report Connector requires SAP Transport version 8.2.0, and the connector is included as part of the Qlik SAP Connector license. 

TLS 1.1 - End of support notice

Qlik Sense will be ending support for TLS 1.1 in Qlik Sense May 2026.

SUPPORT-6419	Measures: Fixed evaluation of simple fields with NULL values	Resolved an issue where hypercubes containing only simple field dimensions and measures without aggregation incorrectly evaluated to NULL. Now, when a measure contains one value plus NULL, it correctly returns the actual value instead of NULL.
SUPPORT-6375	Hypercube: Fixed measure evaluation without dimensions	Resolved an issue where simple field measures without aggregation were not properly evaluated in dimensionless hypercubes. The evaluation now correctly follows the Only() rule.
SUPPORT-6130	Charts: Improved evaluation of simple field measures	Fixed an issue where charts using only simple fields as measures didn't always display the most recent values after selections. The HyperCube evaluation logic now validates Field State, ensuring charts show the latest field values when selections are made on associated fields.
SUPPORT-6011	Legacy Table Sorting Option for Individual Apps	We've introduced a new script variable to give you more control over table sorting behavior in specific apps. Here's what you need to know: * Variable name: QlikInternalSortKeyFieldTables * Purpose: Enables legacy table sorting for individual apps * Usage: Set the variable to 0 before loading any tables * Syntax: SET QlikInternalSortKeyFieldTables=0; * Important: The app must be reloaded for the change to take effect
SUPPORT-429	Engine Performance Improved with SMB 3.0.2	A third-party library update enables the use of RequireSecureSigning in conjunction with SMB 3.0.2.
SUPPORT-7229	Dashboard: On-Demand Reporting extension fix	The On-Demand Reporting extension in the Dashboard bundle stopped functioning due to platform detection issues. This caused the extension to display a generic error. The problem has been resolved, and the extension now operates as expected.

SUPPORT-566	SAP Connector: Enhanced security for legacy connector loading	We fixed a security vulnerability related to loading legacy connectors. The fix restricts connector loading to only the 'C:\Program Files\Common Files\Qlik\Custom Data' folder and its subfolders. Important: If you have connectors outside the specified folder, you must move them to 'C:\Program Files\Common Files\Qlik\Custom Data' or its subfolders to continue using them for data loading.
SUPPORT-785	Snapshot loading issue in embedded client	When adding snapshots to notes in an embedded app, the snapshot image could not be found due to mismatch in the access rights. This issue has been resolved.
SUPPORT-814	Scatter Plots: Fixed Tooltip Display for Out-of-Range Reference Lines	We've resolved an issue affecting scatter plots with reference lines. Previously, when reference lines were out of range, their tooltips failed to appear.
SUPPORT-1036	Missing string in mashup dialog	When displayed in a mashup, a confirm/error dialog showed the translation key instead of the actual string.
SUPPORT-1056	Improve HTML attribute encoding for Login Redirect URIs	Security Hardening: Improve encoding for dynamic URIs to ensure  HTML attributes are accounted for.
SUPPORT-1180	Unable to create an OLE DB connection using Data manager	OLE DB connection was unable to be created because form was missing, resolved by bringing back form.
SUPPORT-1249	Expression Editor: Fixed Help Mode Link Issue	When clicking on Help mode in expression editor, an invalid link was opening because the locale url is undefined in client managed deployments. This has been resolved so that the link defaults to en-US, unless otherwise specified.
SUPPORT-1312	Fixed: Data Reload Issue Causing Unresponsive Behavior	We've resolved an issue where certain data reload operations could become unresponsive, potentially causing the system to appear frozen. This problem occurred when using specific data processing functions together.
SUPPORT-1639	URL Selection: Fixed timing issue for applying selections	We resolved a timing issue that prevented selections from URL parameters from being applied correctly.
SUPPORT-1846	Date format issue in Data manager	The date format in Data manager could not be changed due to an import component issue.
SUPPORT-2015	UI settings that hid the asset panel are now only applied when in analysis mode	UI settings that hid the asset panel are now only applied when in analysis mode. The asset panel remains enabled in other modes to avoid disturbing the editing experience.
SUPPORT-2034	Data Export: Expanded file size limit for Excel exports	We've enhanced the Excel export functionality by increasing the maximum file size limit before ZIP64 compression is applied.
SUPPORT-2051	Parquet Files: Improved Handling for Empty Files	We've updated how we handle Parquet files with no data. Previously, attempting to get data encoding for empty Parquet files (those with 0 row groups) could trigger an error in Arrow Parquet. Now, for these empty files, we keep the encoding as "Unknown" instead of trying to determine it. This change prevents errors when processing empty Parquet files.
SUPPORT-2137	Media Library: Fixed Image Upload Issue	We've resolved an issue that prevented users from uploading images to the media library on servers using a virtual proxy prefix. With this fix, the system now properly manages virtual proxy prefixes, ensuring all image uploads complete successfully.
SUPPORT-2188	Direct query in filter pane issue	Fixed clone issue in the filter pane object when Direct Query is used in a public sheet.
SUPPORT-2237	QSM-CM App: Improved Patch Notification Delivery	We've resolved an issue affecting the QSM-CM app where some users weren't receiving notifications for specific patches.
SUPPORT-2237	Security Enhancement	We've upgraded a core component of our system to address a Prototype Pollution issue.
SUPPORT-3225	Display issue with long names in filter panes	Fixed display of field names that were too long the in filter pane popup.
SUPPORT-3251	Engine: Fixed negative bytes_added reporting in health check	Resolved an issue where the Engine health check endpoint incorrectly reported negative values for bytes_added.
SUPPORT-3290	Data Manager: Restored Owner Information in Connection Names	We've resolved an issue affecting data connections created through the Data Manager. From November 2024 onwards, connections were missing owner information in their names. This fix ensures that new data connections created via the Data Manager now include the expected owner details. Existing connections without owner information remain fully functional.
SUPPORT-3293	Missing bundles in the tab container chart list	Fixed a bug with third-party bundles not showing in the list when adding a chart to a tab container.
SUPPORT-3294	Button chart: Fixed incorrect scroll position on navigation	Previously, using a button chart to navigate to another chart always scrolled to the bottom of the sheet. This issue has been resolved, and the scroll position now correctly aligns with the target chart's location.
SUPPORT-3379	Visualization: Line breaks now supported in custom tooltips	Line breaks in custom tooltip titles and descriptions are now properly displayed. To add a new line, use the Chr(10) character in your expressions. Test with a second paragraph for automatios
SUPPORT-3383	Expression Editor: Improved Syntax Highlighting on Initial Load	We've enhanced the Expression Editor to ensure syntax highlighting works correctly as soon as you open it. Previously, syntax highlighting might not have been active when you first loaded the editor.
SUPPORT-3387	Some task trigger custom filters were not working as expected	Task trigger custom filter in QMC was fixed so that it is able to support dates higher than the 19th.
SUPPORT-3417	The Trusted Certificate Path parameter has been removed from Google Big Query ODBC connector	The Google Big Query ODBC Connector would stop working if an invalid certificate was provided in the Trusted Certificate Path parameter on the connection dialog. To prevent this from happening, Qlik has removed the Trusted Certificate Path parameter and will provide the proper certificate automatically.
SUPPORT-3480	Layout changed after exiting full screen of a chart	Fixed an issue where some charts in the Layout Container could change size after toggling full screen view.
SUPPORT-3535	Data Connections: Custom Properties Retention	We've resolved an issue affecting custom properties in data connections after upgrades.  With this fix, all custom properties now remain intact when modifying data connections.
SUPPORT-3833	Sheet View: Functionality Restored for HTTP Server Access	We've resolved an issue where enabling HTTP access to the server inadvertently caused sheet views to stop functioning. This problem only affected HTTP connections, while HTTPS access remained fully operational throughout.
SUPPORT-3835	Storytelling: Bookmark links invalid path fix	We have fixed an issue where bookmark links used in Storytelling lead to an invalid path. Users will now be directed to the correct URL.
SUPPORT-3873	Error loading data from an Athena table with Japanese characters in the name.	Athena ODBC connector can now load data from tables with Japanese characters in the name.
SUPPORT-3904	Improved Unicode Support in Regular Expression Functions	We've enhanced our regular expression engine to fully support Unicode characters by default. This update resolves an issue where the ReplaceRegEx function was causing app crashes when used with Cyrillic characters.
SUPPORT-4009	Wrong KPI colors for minimum and maximum values	Min and max values were not updated when data was reloaded. This affected Color Scale calculations. The only way to trigger this bug was when gradient color segment was used in combination with using expressions for the limits. This issue has been resolved.
SUPPORT-4065	KPI: Fixed issue with multiple title display	Resolved an issue where the "Show title" property for KPIs with two titles wasn't functioning correctly. The show toggle now individually controls the visibility of both the first and second KPI titles, allowing for more precise customization of the KPI display.
SUPPORT-4256	Extra color limits no longer display default indicator	In this update, we corrected an issue where the default indicator was displayed on additional color limits even when it was not set by the user. This has been resolved by adding a condition that ensures only the initial color limit receives the default indicator key, while all extra color limits are added without an indicator unless the user explicitly sets one.
SUPPORT-4381	Map Chart: Fixed Color Selection for Layers	We've resolved an issue in the map chart feature that prevented users from changing the outline color or single color for map layers.
SUPPORT-4457	Data Connections: Fixed Credential Update Issue	We fixed an issue where the Engine sent a wrongly formatted string to the Repository when modifying data connection information.
SUPPORT-4535	Number Display Fix for RTL Languages	In this update (Release 8.423.12 - May 2025 patch release), we've corrected an issue affecting the display of negative numbers in right-to-left (RTL) languages. Previously, the minus sign for negative numbers was incorrectly positioned to the right of the number in RTL contexts. This is now resolved.
SUPPORT-4662	Duplicated dimensions in a pivot table no longer raise an error	With cyclic dimensions, users could accidentally use the same field/dimension in multiple rows and/or columns of a pivot table. This would raise an error and break the visualization. It also had the effect of removing the ability to cycle away from the soft-locked state via the visualization in question. The check for repeated dimensions has been disabled, allowing freer use of cyclic dimensions in pivot tables and fewer broken visualizations.
SUPPORT-4682	Enhanced Hierarchical Master Objects: Improved Patch Visibility	We've resolved an issue affecting hierarchical master objects on sheets. Previously, when soft patches were applied to these objects, the changes were not visible to users and did not affect the actual master object. Patches are now correctly applied to the underlying master object, and all modifications are visible.

SUPPORT-4722	Updated version of Protobuf	Updated Protobuf to mitigate known vulnerabilities.
SUPPORT-4737	QMC: Improved Audit Result Export Functionality	We have resolved an issue in the Qlik Management Console (QMC) related to exporting audit results.  With this update, you can now successfully export audit results when filtering for a single application and a single user simultaneously.
SUPPORT-4822	ODBC: Increased Password Character Limit	We've enhanced the ODBC connection capabilities by increasing the maximum allowed password length to 256 characters.
SUPPORT-4857	Gauge chart: Fixed custom number abbreviation letter	We've resolved an issue that prevented users from modifying abbreviation letters for number formatting using the Data load editor script. For example, for a billion, the users may prefer to use a letter B than the default letter G. With this fix, the gauge chart now accept the abbreviation letter for number formatting from script.
SUPPORT-4873	Language change issue with Chart Exploration menu master item labels	Master item labels in the Chart Exploration menu are updated to match the selected language, without requiring a sheet reload.
SUPPORT-4908	QMC: Improved Search Wizard Functionality	We have enhanced the Search wizard in the Qlik Management Console (QMC) by removing duplicate "Started" and "Queued" options.
SUPPORT-4946	Column width written as an expression not working in a straight table	Fixed an issue where the column width written as an expression in the straight table did not work.
SUPPORT-4972	Sorting issue in chart exploration	Fixed an issue where a dimension lost its sort order when toggled via the exploration panel of the straight table.
SUPPORT-5087	"Image label" field missing in properties panel for straight tables.	Fixed an issue in the properties panel of the straight table where the image label input field did not show.
SUPPORT-5089	Access subfolders in media library	Fixed an issue that prevented users from viewing files within a folder. They are now displayed in the root of the media library.
SUPPORT-5153	Security Enhancement: Network Component Update in SAP connector	We've updated a core component responsible for network communications in our application. This update improves overall security and stability.
SUPPORT-5174	Simple Charts: Fixed Data Type Requirement Issue	We've resolved an issue with Simple Charts showing blank.
SUPPORT-5190	Map chart WMS sources not working in some cases	There was an issue in the map chart background layer, where some WMS servers stopped working due to the styles parameter not being included in the URL.
SUPPORT-5201	Upgrade form-data version in the Download Prep Service	Upgrades form-data to mitigate know vulnerabilities.
SUPPORT-5255	Full master measure name not available in hover over	There was an issue where if you hovered over a master measure with a very long name, you could not see the full name. This has been fixed.
SUPPORT-5273	Insight Advisor: New Sorting Capabilities on Table Charts	We've upgraded the table charts generated by Insight Advisor to allow sorting. The previous table chart has been replaced with a new straight table (sn-table) chart, which now includes sorting capabilities.
SUPPORT-5305	ODBC Connections: Single Sign-On Option Restored	We've restored the single sign-on (SSO) checkbox when creating ODBC connections.
SUPPORT-5332	Conflicting sorting in date picker properties	Fixed a conflicting sorting issue in date picker properties.
SUPPORT-5473	Improved URL Handling: Invalid State Parameters	We've enhanced the way our application handles URLs with invalid state parameters. Previously, accessing a URL with an incorrect state parameter could lead to unexpected behavior. Now, if an invalid state parameter is detected in the URL (e.g., /sense/app/app-id/sheet/sheet-id/state/INVALID-STATE), the system will automatically default to the 'analysis' state.
SUPPORT-5495	Insight Advisor: Enhanced KPI Chart Placement	We've improved the Insight Advisor's chart recommendation logic. Now, when a query contains only a single measure, a KPI chart will be prioritized and displayed at the top.
SUPPORT-5519	Improved App Details Editing on Windows Server	We've removed a technical limitation that prevented users from editing app details when using HTTP setup on Windows Server.
SUPPORT-5671	Embedded PostgreSQL upgrade for improved security	As part of our ongoing commitment to security and platform resilience, we are introducing an automatic upgrade of the embedded PostgreSQL database from version 14.17 to 14.19. This update will be applied to all installations currently running an older supported version within the 14.x track. New installations will be installed with embedded PostgreSQL version 14.19
SUPPORT-5712	Filter value text box in pivot tables lost focus	In pivot tables, the filter value the text box lost focus during text input, as the key defined for it was changed. This led to the rerender of the component when a user entering text took a pause from writing. The issue has been resolved and the text box works as expected.
SUPPORT-5737	Updated version of ASP.NET	Updated ASP.NET to mitigate known vulnerabilities.
SUPPORT-5758	Support SingleTenant app type for Qlik Insight Advisor Chat for external channels	Microsoft now only supports “SingleTenant” app type with new Azure Bot creation. In order to support that, we have added support for “SingleTenant” Azure Bot creation. For existing customers who have already created an Azure Bot with “MultiTenant”, their bots continue to be supported.
SUPPORT-5781	Straight table filtering was not working with chart suggestion	Fixed an issue where in some cases a straight table created via chart suggestion could show data was not updated based on selections.
SUPPORT-5908	Removing node.js utility fast-glob from all products.	As requested by customers, we have removed node.js utility fast-glob.
SUPPORT-5968	Map Chart: Improved Tooltip Placement for Area Layers	We've enhanced the accuracy of tooltip placements in map charts, particularly for area layers with unusual polygon shapes. Previously, in some rare cases, the tooltip arrow could appear outside the boundaries of a polygon. This update ensures that tooltips are now consistently placed within the correct area.
SUPPORT-5983	Updated AngularJS	Updated the public version of AngularJS 1.8 to the never-ending support version of AngularJS 1.9, which contains latest security patches.
SUPPORT-6133	Data Load Editor: Improved Search Navigation	We've restored a familiar search navigation feature in the Data Load Editor. Users can now use the Enter (Return) key to cycle through search results, in addition to the existing forward and backward buttons.
SUPPORT-6166	Embedded PostgreSQL upgrade for improved security	As part of our ongoing commitment to security and platform resilience, we are introducing an automatic upgrade of the embedded PostgreSQL database from version 14.17 to 14.19. This update will be applied to all installations currently running an older supported version within the 14.x track.
SUPPORT-6179 SUPPORT-3564	Updated version of Libcurl	Updated the version of Libcurl to pick up recent patches and address known CVE's.
SUPPORT-6339	Security: Axios Version Update	Updated the Axios library to enhance overall security and stability of the system.
SUPPORT-6364	keepAlive set to false in the Broker Service	NodeJS 19 and later default connections to set keepAlive as True. The Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows Broker Service now overrides this to set keepAlive as False, since the Engine does not allow re-use of connections.
SUPPORT-6374	Map Chart: WMS Setup Dialog Now Includes Child Layer CRS	Fixed an issue in the map chart WMS setup dialog where the CRS dropdown only displayed the coordinate reference systems (CRS) of the root layer. The dialog now includes CRS options for both root and child layers.
SUPPORT-6415	Right to left order not showing in straight table	The straight table will now show columns in right to left order when RTL is set on the app
SUPPORT-6774	Disable CLIENT_METRICS feature flag	The CLIENT_METRICS feature flag was set to false in the bundled capabilities.json to stop mashups from attempting to send metrics to data engineering.
QCB-29664	Ghost session handling and cleanup in the Qlik Sense Scheduler	Ghost sessions were distorting the load on worker-nodes. Handling and cleanup in the Qlik Sense Scheduler were improved to resolve the issue.
QCB-27940	Issues with distributing apps with Visualization bundle extensions to Qlik Cloud	In regions outside US, EU, and Asia-Pacific, the Resource Distribution service was overwriting the Qlik Cloud versions of bundled extension with the Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows version when distributing apps with bundle extensions to Qlik Cloud. This issue has been resolved.
FEC-33	Qlik-embed: Resolved rendering issue for classic charts	Fixed a rendering issue with classic charts in qlik-embed. Previously, charts using the "classic/chart" option failed to display due to a timing problem with translation strings. We've optimized the setup sequence to ensure translations are properly applied. Classic charts now render correctly.
SHEND-2650	Updated data-connector-odbc version	Updated data-connector-odbc to a version higher than v7.136.0 to resolve a known issue in the MSSQL driver that caused connection failures when using NTLM authentication.

Known issues and limitations

The following issues and limitations were identified at release time. The list is not comprehensive but lists all known major issues and limitations.

Clients

• Third-party extensions are currently not supported on mobile devices, and the Qlik Trusted Extension Developer program does not accredit extensions for use on mobile devices. Generated items might not be visualized properly on a mobile device, depending on individual device specifications, mobile OS, and the size of the Qlik Sense app.
• When you consume Qlik Sense apps using the Microsoft Edge browser on touch/hybrid devices, the long-press action does not work. This prevents you from accessing functions such as an object’s context menu, which requires a long press in touch mode. This is a Microsoft Edge issue.
  Workaround: If you use a hybrid device, turn off touch mode, and then turn it back on again.
• Export as Anonymous does not work for mashups deployed in a domain that is different from the domain where Qlik Sense is installed. Export only works for Anonymous if the mashup is deployed in the same domain as Qlik Sense.
• When using the new Load Extension syntax in the load script, the Data Load Editor syntax completion does not work well after the keyword “Extension” when trying to write the call to an SSE function (AAI function). The script still executes correctly.
• Legend does not show dimension values after row number 3000.
• Limitations when exporting a story to PowerPoint:   
  • Titles are not rescaled as HTML. Font settings are not exported.
  • Storytelling effects are not applied.
  • Exported charts might show fixed scroll bars, depending on the export resolution.
• It is not possible to open the context menu of an org chart on a touch device.
• When you choose to view data in the context menu in a dynamic chart and make a new selection in the app, you need to refresh the browser for the chart to be displayed again.

Dynamic views

• Dynamic views that you delete from one app are also deleted from every other app that was using the same view. There is no workaround for this issue. Avoid deleting views that might already be in use by other apps.
• When you create a new dynamic view in the assets pane, the dropdown menu item does not automatically change to show the charts of the newly created dynamic view if there are any existing dynamic views. You must click on the dropdown menu to choose the newly created view.
• The data for a dynamic view is automatically refreshed whenever you open a sheet that contains charts for the view. The same happens when you enter and then return from the global selections pane, and when you add a new chart for the view. Refrain from performing these actions on the base app to prevent triggering refreshes.
• The view of a dynamic chart is cleared and shows a message indicating a view constraint violation whenever you change the selection state of the base app in a way that violates the view's constraints. Refrain from changing the selection state of the base app until it has finished making use of the data in any of the dynamic view charts.
• The ‘Go to source’ option on a snapshot slide (available on right-click) for a dynamic chart does not select the actual dynamic chart when you change the view to the base app sheet.
• Changes to chart settings for dynamic view charts using the Exploration menu are lost after refreshing the view.
• Dynamic views do not support the Trellis extension.

Managing a Qlik Sense site

• The Edit pane under Custom properties in the Qlik Management Console (QMC) can currently handle a limited number of custom properties. If you want to edit custom property values in the QMC, we recommend keeping the number of custom property values to a maximum of 500. If you want to apply values without modifying them, the QMC can handle up to 10,000 custom property values.
• When you remove app objects from an application via the QMC interface, deleted objects are not removed from the application’s binary file stored on the file system.
• It is not possible to use a security rule on the HubSection_* resource to hide the ‘Open hub’ link from the navigation menu when accessing an app as an anonymous user.  
  Workaround: Use reverse proxy to redirect the ‘Open hub’ link to a preferred landing site.
• Windows service Qlik Engine cannot be started on a node where the Qlik Engine service is disabled through the QMC. Every time Windows restarts for that node, the Qlik Engine service fails to start up and throws an error in Windows event logs. You can prevent this by temporarily disabling the Qlik Engine service in Windows Service Manager.
• Data connection passwords containing special characters (such as "=", "%", or ";") are not properly encoded when updated via the QMC. This causes authentication errors when trying to connect to specific data sources, which could cause reload tasks to fail.  
  Workaround: Use the data load editor to update the password. Note that once the password is updated, the name of the data connection is automatically appended by "(domain_userId)". You can adjust this later via the QMC.

Qlik Sense Desktop

• Qlik Sense Desktop can play WebM and Ogg but not MP4 files. This is due to limitations in Chromium.

Connectors

• REST connector: The ‘Next token’ pagination option does not work when the pagination token has the same value for each page.
• For connectors in the ODBC Connector Package only the data types listed as supported in the online help have been verified to work correctly in the Preview and Script editor. However, the ODBC Connector Package does not prevent you from loading other data types. In some cases, you can load unsupported data types with the load script.
• ODBC connector: Database connectors in the ODBC Connector Package do not work properly if the username on the Microsoft Windows system running Qlik Sense Desktop contains letters that are not English alphanumeric characters.
  Workaround: Change the Windows system locale to match the character set that contains the characters used in the username. For example, if the system locale on the system running Qlik Sense Desktop is set to English and a username contains Swedish characters, you must change the system locale to Swedish for the ODBC connector to work properly.
• The Qlik Salesforce connector does not support PK chunking on sharing objects. PK chunking is only supported on parent objects.
• The Apache Phoenix connector does not support non-Latin characters in metadata. The connector might return corrupted data or unpredictable query results if you run a query with non-Latin characters in metadata, such as table names, column names, and aliases.

Cloud deployments and Multi-Cloud

• When you download a pivot table in Qlik Sense Enterprise SaaS, expanded rows are not included but stay collapsed.
