Question About Managing Row Usage Without Upgrading

Hi,

I received an email regarding exceeding the 5 million row limit on my current plan. Before considering an upgrade, I wanted to ask:

Would it be possible to temporarily pause one of my integrations to reduce row usage and stay within my current plan limits for the upcoming months? If I anticipate needing more rows in the future, I’ll be happy to reach out to discuss upgrading at that time.

Appreciate your guidance on the best way to handle this.

Best regards,

Fatma Elnahas

Hello @Fatma2

There are two ways to achieve Credit Row Usage under Qlik Support manual effort.

Credit back the row usage

Crediting the rows back way is used usually after resetting the integration due to data discrepancy or unexpected row consumption caused by integration errors. Qlik Support will check your stitch dashborad and credit back the number of rows you used unexpected as a one-time courtesy to ensure it does not affect your billing plan.

On the billing page, you will find a section labeled "credited rows". The number of rows displayed here will count towards your free row usage.

Set an exemption period on a certain integration

This is used for setting an exemption period on a certain integration, usually a 7-day period and in this way no rows being used during the reseting integration will count towards your monthly row usage.
After a new exemtion created for your integration, you can see from the Stitch UI that the row usage of your integration is already in a green box, meaning that the rows it consumes will not be counted during the exemption period towards your monthly usage.

Please feel free contact Qlik Support for this manual effort assistance. It can be completed in Live Chat.
