One of our integrations failed due to the "SSH Tunnel Connection Error", but the email was sent 2 hours after the failure. We need to know of failures of immediately so they can be resolved and our depending jobs can run successfully

I'm supposing that you've reviewed our notification-reference docs which list the email delay time for each notification type.
The delay Stitch uses depends on the notification/issue type, so far SSH tunnel connection error is set as Email Delay as 2 hours. (which is how long we’ll wait before sending and is defined above)
