Customer has an environment which source endpoint is Oracle 12.2 with AL32UTF8 charset and target endpoint is Teradata 17.10 with UNICODE charset.
They have a column to replicate emojis, but QR can't successfully write to TD.
Although it can use Character Substitution to reach the goal. But, as I know there are more than 3,000 emojis in the world and the number continues to increase, it might not be suitable for them to do Character Substitution.
However, I've tried to do a test that using TPT's script to set LoadUnicodePassThrough = 'ON', and it can successfully write emojis to TD. But, this solution reads a csv file and writes directly to TD. Therefore, we require the function that add the parameter in QR.
