User friendly interface for section access administration
Section access is a great feature enabling developers to limit access according to dimension privileges. I often find myself building complex script for apps requiring limitations on several dimensions. In addition rules are managed in an external excel file. I think Qlik Sense deserves a proper section access interface within the app where dimensions values and users could be matched. Even better a dedicated menu outside the app would be better since you could then call a given section access generated in one or several app.
Thank you for sharing your idea with us. And I do agree that this would be helpful. We did tried this already in QlikView to bring the Section Access Management to a more Management Console like UI. We do have currently nothing planned within that area but I'll add it to the backlog and will discuss it with the development teams.
