Escaping backslash in MDM search

Hi All,

The backslash (\) in MDM search box doesn't seem to work, nither does escaping it with an additional backslash (\\) work like in studio or java.

Please help me.

Its 7.3.1 MDM & studio both

tried escaping with a forward slash & I get the below error, but I tried enclosing the string in quotes but still wont work.

Plus, if I go for advanced search and put in the expression the site freezes on 'OK' submission.
