Talend Data Catalog Export Bridges - "Database SQL DDL Script-Export"

Hello,

Is it possible to import an Informatica PowerCenter ETL job into TalendDataCatalog and then use a bridge called "Database SQL DDL Script --Export" to convert the ETL process to SQL?

Or can the bridge "Database SQL DDL Script-Export" convert only table-defined SQL?

Or do you know of other Export bridges that allow PWC to SQL migration?

Hello,

We got confirmation from our TDC team that it is possible to convert Informatica PowerCenter ETL job into Talend Data Catalog. However, TDC doesn't support all Talend DI components as such using this approach of importing an Informatica Job and exporting as a Talend Job will not be 100% functionally equivalent / reliable using TDC bridges.

Do you have any testing Informatica job? We can give it a try using the TDC import/export option.

The important thing is the scope of SQL export.

1. Is only DDL converted to SQL?

2. Convert Power Center ETL Processes to SQL?
