talend data catalog using old database sql server

After installing Talend Data Catalog and configuring it with the database (using an existing database), how do I restore and connect it to Talend Data Catalog after the old database has been backed up? 

I’ve tried the best practices here "https://help.qlik.com/talend/en-US/data-catalog-administration-guide/8.0/backing-up-and-restoring-da...", but I haven’t found a solution yet. Can you guys help me?
