Unable to view data load editor, even when I am the root admin and the developer

The Data Load Editor option is under the Prepare on the left hand side of Analyze Sheet on the top area. Refer to the screenshot.

Even near analyse sheet the Data Load editor option is not there, with data manager there is no drop down arrow as well tried that.

 I know it's been a few years but did you ever find a solution to your issue? I am facing the same one and have no clue how to fix it.

Hi @AnneEb which Qlik product are you using? Qlik Sense Enterprise for Windows or Qlik Cloud?

Are you able to create a new app and find the data load editor?

By reading through the dialogue I will make a two guesses on what's "wrong".

1. LICENSE

In order to get access to and use script editor the user needs a professional license (not Analyzer license). Please check and confirm that the user(s) in question have the necessary license. 

2. PUBLISHED APP

Is the problem only on published apps? The default security setup in most Qlik Environments is that the script editor is not accessible for an app that is published. In order to make changes to such an app the normal procedure is to duplicate it, make edits to the copy, then update the published app by republishing  the changes on to it.
