Google maps not rendering on Access Point

I have a QVW app that has a google map. When i put the app on the Access Point with the sheet displaying the map as the landing page the map shows up in the Thumbnail view. As soon as I access the app the map disappears . the data points show up but the graphic of the map is gone.

The google maps request is done from the server, so make sure the server has internet access and that nothing like a firewall is blocking the request.
