QlikView Document CALs

QlikView Document CALs

We have a prospect evaluating QlikView and looking at various licensing configurations.

This prospect is looking at Small Business Edition and then some document CALs for users accessing only 1 or 2 models.

What they need to know is, if they add a link/data source of an Excel spreadsheet would that make the QlikView model not usable for a document CAL? 

Is that what is called a chasm trap in the Document Cal restrictions?
