Attached, Detached is not preserved during the reload.
Moreover this feature is only available in the QV desktop and in the IE plugin.
If you wan to have a detached object in the layout, use a set analysis combined with a bookmark in the chart expression or use alternates states that is much more powerful than the attach/detached when you want a comparison.
