Action > External > Open QlikView Document

Hello,

I have a Text Box in a QV document where I put an action in order to open another QV document.

I went to Actions > External > Open QlikView Document. But what I'm supposed to enter in the "Document" field ? a url ?

Hi Dani,

You need to mention the document path there.

For Ex: C:\Myself\Qlikview\Example.qvw

And then click the check boxes as per your requirements.

Hi Dani,

If both qvw files are inside the same folder than just mentioned the name of the other qvw files which you want to link with the button else give the complete path or link of the application like D:\QlikView\Development\(Name of your appliaction).qvw

If both QVW are in the same folder, just put the name of the QVW

Like

FileName.qvw

I tried for few times and already make sure the path is correct (button is working in Qlikview desktop), but I still got Invalid path and failed to open error message in Access Point (Ajax). Any other setting need to be done?
