Macros are not working in accesspoint(IIS)

Hi,

i have a qvw file, it's working fine in the QlikView Personal Edition.

but if i place the same file in the QlikView Server (AccessPoint), it is not working properly.

Functionality of the macro is copying chart data and create a excel with this data in specified path location in same machine.

the Macro is not working properly. what could be the issue?

so what we have to do this?

Thanks,

Sahithya

Macros don't work in the ajax client. You'll have to use the IE Plugin or Qlikview Desktop.

What I need to do to run the macros as I am working on Qlikview personal edition(11.2).

Doesn't mattter. Macros don't work and cannot work in the ajax client. Use the IE Plugin or Qlikview Desktop instead.

We had the same problem and we solved it by forcing our costumers to use the Internet Explorer and open the documents with IE Plugin.

I am using IE to view the document.

You need to use the IE Plugin plugged into IE. Using the ajax client in IE will not work if you want to run macros.

you have to install the IE PLUGIN otherwise AJAX is being used.
