Hello Experts,

I have four fact tables and all having different keys and columns. I want to make all four fact tables as single fact table as to achieve star model.

Here which method I have to choose.

Is concatenating all four fact tables or by using link table.

Please guide me on this issue.

Each fact table size is almost 5 gb and it is taking almost 20 mins to load all tables.

Did you apply Qlikview best practices?

5 GB data means it is huge.

Please download and check for unnecessary fields in data model.

-Remove unnecessary data by user permission. Archive the old data. ( For example user can not analyse the data more than 4 years)

i‌ think start schema won't improve much in your case.

THere won't be any performance issue with your current model.

Huge data is the reason.

ANyhow, pls attach the sample qvw with some data.

I suspect that you might need to load each fact table and its associated dimensions into a separate model to make the documents' front-end performance (as well the document size and reload time) more manageable.

In my scenario, I want to merge four fact tables as single table and want to develop star schema.

Right now I am not bothering about performance issue.
