I have been devouring the Qlik Videos and resources on the subject notably this thread and this Qlik video on User Directory Connector creation and am I correct in thinking that to use the Excel file with a 'Sheet1' and 'Sheet2' (for attributes) in the way Michael does, I would need to use the ODBC (Excel) connection?
Would downloading these Drivers (link) from Microsoft meet the requirements for being able to set up that connection?
And as far as the Excel sheet itself, am I able to just "create a new Excel" from scratch (conforming to existing field headers) and then sync into QMC?
