Hi, I have a pivot table with the following structure (the measure is Total Sales):
2015 | 2016 | ||
Customer 1 | Product A | $ 40,000 | $ 3,000 |
Product B | $ 35,000 | $ 50,000
Product C | $ 70,000 | $ 6,700
Customer 2 | Product A | ... | ... |
Is there any way to take sort the rows of products according to the sale during the year? Ie take 2016, and to order the items according to the total sold (C, A, B), and then to do the same with 2015 (B, C, A). I can not find how to sort the table according to the measure.
Thanks!
In Pivot Tables you can only sort by Dimensions. Using Custom sorting you can choose which dimension to sort on, and if you choose to sort by an expression, there you might be able to define a custom logic to match your liking.
yon can not do it in pivot tables. you can do it in Tables not Pivot.
In Pivot Tables you can only sort by Dimensions.
