Ad-Hoc Reporting in Qlikview

Hi, I am new to Qlikview and I had the following question.

Is it possible to provide the end users ad-hoc reporting capabilities in Qlikview? By ad-hoc I mean there is a pre - identified set of dimension & metrics/KPIs that the users have access to and they can see the data for any combination of dimension & metrics/KPIs.

If yes, then do the end users require a software to be installed on their system or can they have access to ad-hoc reporting capabilities through the Web Browser?

I think you can do this using conditional enablement of dimensions and expressions in QV11.

go to Report tab.

And as you will see, with a QV server you can access these reports using only a Web browser.
