We decided to print some hour reports based on our time sheet tool directly from QlikView.
Creating the QlikView DashBoard was a very fast and easy. Now we added the objects we want to print to a "report". This is 1 diagramm and 1 selection box. The content is right a the right font is selected.
What we miss is: the title of the boxes don't show up in the preview and doesn't print. Is there any special setting that we did forgot to set?
Correct, captions aren't available in reports. For Pivot tables and Straight tables you'll have to add a text box with the title above the table. This text box does not have to be above the table on the sheet. You can place it anywhere, for example behind the table so you don't see it on the sheet. I think it does have to be visible or it won't show on the report.
The caption is part of the window that contains the chart, not of the chart itself. You'll have to use the Chart Title instead of the Window Title. Check the option Show Title in Chart and fill in the text (or expression) for the Title. If necessary adjust the Title Settings as needed. If you need more to show more text(s) I think you'll have to use text boxes.
Thank you for your fast answer. Just to be sure: in the diagramm itself I go to the last tab: activate "show title" (German: Titelleiste anzeigen) and type in a title text. => this is not shown in the report
In QlikView itself this title shows this title. In the report it doesn't. It shows only the column headers. What I try to display is a table diagramm.
The option on the first tab: show diagramm title is greyed out. If I switch to an other diagramm type I can set "diagramm title". And if I set one then it is shown in the diagramm and in the report - but in the middle and not as title for everything.
I have tried it with a colletion object also. But looks as a collection object is not allowed in reports.

You can also add a text image to the report. In this text field you can just copy the caption from your tabel/graph - thereby the you have the caption above you graph at all times
