Open URL

Hello Community,

Has anyone had to open a Project Server dashboard from within QlikView?
I have tried from a 'Link' type in Expressions and Open URL action, and in both cases I can open the standard web page where I then I am given the chance to choose 2 parameters: "Project Name" and "Phase Level".

Is there a way to automatically send the parameters as variables? If there is, what is the syntax? I have checked all the threads on the Community already, but I don't seem to find something that suits my needs.

Thaks and Regards,

C.

That depends on the website you want to open. If that site allows parameters in the urls like http://mysite/mypage.html?par1=x&par2=y then you can simply add those in the url in your expression.

Thanks very much for this, Sujeetsingh.

Very helpful for something else I am putting together, but not what I need at this time.

It isn't a QlikView document I am trying to open, it's another application called Project Server.

Thanks anyway.

Thanks Gysbert,

I have done some testing and the parameters are not accepted by Project Server.

I'm still looking and trialling stuff, though.

Cheers!
