HI,
I'm a new user of QlikView. For a student project, I have to load a .mdb database and some tables contain a lot of rows.
When I want to create a table object, I got the following message : "Out of object memory".
The documentation tells me to go Settings > User prefs > Objects and check "Ignore calculation limits" but this checkbox isn't there.
I work with QlikView 10.0 Personal Edition : is it the Personal Edition that hide the option ?
Thank you.
This is what I have in my Objects settings :
Hi,
Might be the reason that yor are using Personal Edition.
I am also using theQV10 , I can see the option.
Regards,
Chakravarthy.
i have 10SR1 as a non-PE .. and i cant see that option also.. where is it?
Hi Chakravarthy.
I am currently migrating our applications from QV8.5 to QV10 SR2. I am on a licensed version of QlikView.
In my QV8.5 application I have the Ignore Calculation Limits option on the User Preferences Objects tab. It is located under the Click in Chart Background Clears Selection option.
In my QV10 SR2 application (same app as in QV8.5), I do not have the Ignore Calculation Limits option. I only have the Click in Chart Background Clears Selection option.
Where are you seeing this option in your QV10 app? What SR are you using?
Thanks,
John.
I installed QV 10 SR1 and I can't see it.
From the QV 10 SR2 build 8935 release notes we have:
Known issues
QlikView Server, QlikView Publisher and Management Consoles
Max Memory settings in QEMC is no longer Editable and the 'Ignore Calculation
Limit' Checkbox has been removed.
and
Bugs corrected
37532
Include in Release Notes. Max Memory settings in QEMC and Desktop-User Preference (qlikview 10) not Editable
and Missing 'Ignore Calculation Limit' Checkbox
---
So it should be there if you have 10 SR2
Hope it helps,
Erich
Hi Erich.
Thanks for the response and the tip on using 'use advanced editor' when replying to discussions.
I am currently using QV10 SR2 and still cannot see the 'Ignore Calculation Limits' checkbox.
In About QlikView, my version is 10.00.8935.7 SR2. I am using a licensed version of QlikView.
Is there some other setting I have to select in order for the 'Ignore Calculation Limits' checkbox to appear?
Thanks,
John.
Hi John,
I have some version as you and I dont see it even
I am using QV 10 SR2 full version and I can not see it too... so I guess the bug still applies.
Did anyone who couldn't see the checkbox find it yet?
