Creating a presentation (ppt) from a QlikView_app

Hi,

I have just done an analysis on the calculation of monthly revenue. It is likely that I'll have to do this analysis every month going forward. That's why I'm looking for a way to, without too much effort, create a presentation from the QlikView_app that I can pass on to the responsible managers - also because the presentation should have the same look every month and the same structure so that it is easy to work with.

What is the best way to do it? I can prepare m.o.l. all of the objects in QlikView on specific sheets and adapt their size and then I can just copy them to the Clipboard (as picture) and paste them onto the slides.

Is there anything I can do to streamline that process?

Thanks a lot!

Best regards,

DataNibbler

I assume you know that this can be done with a macro.

As m w suggested, you can potentially code a macro, or an external VbScript to do the export.  An alternative supported commercial way to do it is to license the NPrinting component of QV.

Hi,

Please see to the below thread.

Hi Sasi,

so this presumes that I have NPrinting installed, right? Well, that looks like a real practical tool, one that a company using QlikView should definitely have - we have not got it and since QlikView is no longer on the official agenda, there is no chance of getting the budget for this. Sorry. I cannot go that way.

I was thinking that this could be done by a small VB script, yes. Only the selection of the charts I need might be a bit different every month, I don't know - I will see what needs to be done.

Thank you all for the help!

I think I'll close this for now.

Best regards,
