Hi,
Please do couple of checks like
1. See if all services are running properly.
2. Restart the IIS services and check if it works or not.
3. On IIS check the authentication.

Hi Koushik,
all the qlikview services are running.
we are using iis 8.5.
"iis admin service" is set to automatic. when i tried to restart it i got error as "windows could not start iis admin service on local computer. for more information review the system log".
also when i tried to restart iis through comand prompt using "iisreset/start" i got message as "Start attempt failed"
and when i checked the status of the iis using "iisreset/status" command the below listed services were stopped.
1. Net.pipe Listener Adapter
2. Net.Tcp Listener Adapter
in the IIS Manager - authentication for windows & anonymous is enabled.
please suggest...
It seems that there is something wrong with IIS.
Because when you try to open the Accesspoint, it hits IIS first.
So search for the IIS error and its resolution.
Also you can contact your system admin for more help.
I will search it and let you know if I came to know anything.

Kaushik Solanki
ya sure thanks...
Hi Kaushik,
Once the iis is running fine, incase if the issue still exists, how do we test further. please suggest??
like how to test the connectivity between qlikview server and iis.

Poppy
You can for example check the AccessPoint content. The AccessPoint itself is assembled and displayed by IIS, but the document thumbnails are supplied by the QVS. If you see document thumbnails in the AccessPoint landing page, your QVS is just fine.
In any case, if no QVS can be found, or the QVS refuses to communicate, you may also get the "No Server" message.
which setting files does iis reads from QVS any idea on this, so that i can check if the file is corrupted or not? because still even after rebooting the server we are not able to open the accesspoint.
its still showing page not found error.
Are you able to open http://localhost/qlikview (i.e; unsecured HTTP)?
You are using these URLs in a Remote Desktop Session on the server, aren't you?
Hi,
When you do an upgrade, the virtual folders in IIS are removed and reinstalled. This means any custom settings you have is gone. To test IIS, I always start with http://locahost or https://localhost. Do you get the IIS Screen?
The configuration file is C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\WebServer\config.xml
