analyse modifier

Hi all,

I'm new and just started to learn the basics of qlikview. but now i want to try to use this:

count ({<Type={'M'}>} Type)

But it seems like it doesn't filter. The result is the same when I use count(type).

What I am trying to achieve:

There is one column called Type. In there are several diffrent types and I want a table with total of all types and per type.

Hi,

first suggestion:

create a straight table (chart) with dim = Type and expression = count(Type).

second suggestion:

create a listbox with Type and check on general tab "show frequency".
