Hi,
I am just wondering whether there is a method to save an unpublished qlik sense app in to a .qvf file.
Because, the apps I develop are directly save in a central server which I do not have access to, and would be great to know whether there are any possibilities of saving the app as a .qvf file so that I can work on the app even on a different computer(at home).
Look forward to hearing some results.
Thanks.
Regards,
Andy
Did you try saving the app to .qvf and tried to open on a different computer which has qs desktop.? So copy your actual file rename it and save it with .qvf and open it on your other computer. Let us know if you get any issues.
Hi Vishwarath,
Thanks for your comment.
However, my primary issue is saving the unpublished qlik sense app on to my locl computer.
Since the apps I created a re stored in a remote server which I do not have access to, I am unable to get the app file from the server. Thus, I am wondering whether the is a method to store the unpublished app on to my local computer so that I can take the .qvf file and try to open it on a different computer (at home).
Thanks.
Regards,
Andy
Hi Andy,
Yes you can store it on your local machine.
Go to QMC-> Apps->
Select app -> Export
It will store on your local machine.
