software installation prior to setup a qlikview Environment

Your best bet would be to read the QV Server Refenence Manual.

If it does not matter wether you use IIS or QV web server then the only software requirements is to have Windows server 2003 or 2008 and the .Net framework 4.0.

Other than .Net 4.0 there is nothing else required on the server.  Again the manul is the best and fastest place to get this type of information.
