Hi,
I am working on QlikVIew 10 SR 4 on my publisher.
Somehow I am not finding option of
"Max Consurrent Reloads" option under
System - Setup - QlikView Servers - QVS @ - Performance
Can someone please help me on this?
Any inputs on this.
Would be a real help.
Regards,
swapsjosh
Do you have a publisher license? If so it is under the Distribution service and the Advance tab.
Hi Bill, Thanks for your information.
Yes I do have publisher license. Problem which I am facing is in System tab under QlikView Server-->Performance in 1 environment I can see option of "Max Concurrent Reloads" under "Reload LImits" section but its not there in another environment which is on same version.
I can see the option which you mentioned above but I am just wondering about the option in Performance tab.
That is because you have not license publisher on that machine. You are looking at the server reload engines that goes away once you license publisher.
Hi Bill Britt
I was wondering the same, so the option "Max number of simultaneous QlikView engines for distribution: 4" with Publisher license is exactly the same that "Max Concurrent Reloads: 4" in the Performance Tab without Publisher License?
Emanuel.
That is the default setting. You want to set this based on the number of Processors you have in you machine. One engine per processor. However, Microsoft put a limit of 10 on it without you doing a registry hack.

Bill
Yes that's the default Value but my question is thats values is equal to max concurrent Reloads? I mean one QlikView Engine is only for one reload task? or how are we supposed to manage the number of concurrent Reloads as we do in the Performance tab with the option: "Max Concurrent Reloads", im sorry but is not so clear for me
hello,
is there a solution for this. I have the same issue not showing reload limits option for some clusters within the same environment.
We are on 11.2 SR6
Please suggest.
Thanks
Chandra
Hi,
Yes, the number of QVB's that are set is the max number of concurrent reloads you can run. If you have this option under Performance tab under the Server option, means you don't have publisher installed.
If you have publisher and have a cluster system and you see the about your QVPR is corrupted and you need to contact support to help correct the issue.
