Attaching files in a discussion forum

Hi,

Can anyone let me know how we could attach files for a discussion after the discussion is started through reply option,I do not see the advance editor option when i click on the reply button.Can anyone please let me know how to get this enabled

yes the option that you have marked in red arrow(use advanced editor) is not appearing when i click on reply.Can you please let me know how to make it appear?

Can you post the screenshot that you are seeing clicking on 'Reply' ?

after clicking the reply button see at the top of the right side u will see use advance editor after clicking that ..now u can see the attach option at the right bottom there u can attach a file

i am unable to post the screenshot too,as i cannot see use advanced editor option i tried pasting it but then even thats not working ,i tried the inser image option but its not getting inserted

I guess, it is a local browser issue. Please check for the same; try with some other browser, that might help.

Anushree here i tried using different browser but still i do not see use advance editor option there,its not the browser issue anyother user trying to attach the files are able to do it in my system for their profiles its a problem only with my profile .I am attaching the snapshot you asked for.Please Let me know how i could get over this

recently I've had this same problem and now I know the reason: if you start a conversation and then you are following the thread in the "Inbox" page, you don't have that option. In order to get the "advanced editor" option, you have to click on the conversation link at the top of the thread, for example:

which opens the conversation in the usual "forum" way, and from there, when you click on "Reply" you have the option for the "Advanced editor".
